d. Division winners will be determined in the following order: most wins, most matches played (defaults count as match played for team receiving default but not as match played for team defaulting), highest set wpct, highest game wpct, and method to be determined if still tied.
e. For calculating sets won/lost or games won/lost in the standings a default counts as a 6-0, 6-0 win for the team receiving the default or a 6-0, 6-0 loss for the team defaulting.
f. For calculating sets won/lost or games won/lost in the standings where there is a retired match the team winning the retired match will be assumed to have won all of the remaining unplayed sets/games to complete the match. For example, if a team were winning a match 6-2, 3-1 but was forced to retire the assumed calculated score would be 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 such that the trailing team would have won all of the remaining games in the match.
g. Prizes TBD for each division.

8. Substitution Policy

a. If a player needs to miss a match due to unforeseen circumstances, they may obtain a substitute player to play in his/her place. Certain conditions must be met before someone can play as a substitute.
1. The substituting player will need to be the same gender and NTRP level or no more than 1/2 point lower as the player s/he is replacing for the given match.
2. Only adults can substitute for adults and the substituting player's tennisrecord rating should be no higher than the player they are substituting for.
3. A junior can have either an adult or a junior substitute for them but will need to receive approval from USNAT for their sub. As a general rule the substitute for a junior will need to have an equal or lower utr rating.
4. The substitute player should sign up on the site prior to the match if they do not have a login/account to the site. They do not pay for the league but they need to be signed up on the site.
5. A player can substitute as many times as they like for as many teams as they want.
6. If a player is already on a team in a given division they cannot substitute for another team in the same division. However, a player on a team can substitute for a team not in the same division as any team they are on.
c. Each team is only allowed 2 substitutions in total for the league or the team will no longer be eligible for the playoff round. Both substitutions can be used in the same match, in separate matches, by the same player, or by separate players. After 2 substitutions are used teams are expected to continue to play their remaining matches and/or find more substitutions as necessary.

9. Playoff Round

a. The potential playoff round match dates will be set before the league starts. The playoff matches cannot be rescheduled nor the time changed.
b. An attempt will be made to set the specific date and time for the playoff matches at least 2 weeks prior to the matches. We will be attempting to schedule the matches so that a player can play on 2 different teams in the playoff round but they may have to play back to back matches in that scenario.
c. If a team qualifies for the playoffs but is unable to attend the next team down in the standings list will be offered a spot to play in the playoff. We will keep advancing down the list until there are no further teams available to offer.
d. No substitutions are allowed for the playoffs except in the situation where all of the playoff spots are not filled by teams without substitutions. In that scenario the following rules apply.
1. The highest qualifying team that was unable to accept the offer to play in the playoffs will be allowed 1 substitute and offered a spot again.
2. We will advance down the list of teams again that did not accept the offer to play in the playoffs offering 1 substitute for each team until all of the playoff spots are filled.
3. One of the original players must be available to play in the playoffs. A team cannot participate with 2 substitutes.
4. The substitute must be approved and meet the substitution policy rules.
